Welcome to The Mighty Bengal.
We are a small Bengal cattery located in Southern Ontario, Canada.
Stay awhile and take a look at all the many qualities of our Bengals

Bengal’s foundation breedings, over twenty years ago were of an Asian Leopard and a short-haired domestic cat. The early genetic cross breedings was an attempt to eliminate feline leukemia in cats since the Asian Leopard is immune to it. After early foundation breedings, the Bengal evolved to what it is today; many generations of wild looking domestic cats.

We raise Brown Spotted Tabby Bengals and Seal or sometimes known as Snow Bengals. We are just beginning with our first Marble Bengal breeder and can't wait to see her in our breeding program in the years to come.

The Mighty Bengal strives to breed an extremely wild looking domestic cat. We want to keep the foundation cats wild look of the Asian Leopard but instil a softer side of a well- socialized family pet. We take pride in breeding excellent type in our healthy pet, breeder and show quality Bengals. Please take the time to learn about all the sides of a Bengal, this is a life long commitment for you both. Feel free to contact us with any questions you might have.

I'm sure that all of our Bengal photos will make you love the wild side of our cats, but raising them in our home with our family is most important to us and you for the softer side.

Raising our Bengals is not our 9 to 5 job. We love to do it. Lots of love and care is given to each one of our kittens and cats. Our boys make sure that your Bengal is well versed in how children often play with their pets. When you take your family friend home and continue that love and care; you will have yourself the perfect Bengal.

Just "purrrr-fect"......

Our Bengals love to greet us at the door and send us off. They truly miss and want our company. Each Bengal in our home has it's own voice. Literally, it's own unique tones and sounds. It really is almost unbelievable that we can tell which of our cats is talking and we actually understand most of what they are telling us. One sound tells us it's time to play, another to tell us it's time to eat. Sometimes they just want a lap, sometimes a treat, sometimes just a nice warm place to sleep.

Bengals are also very energetic and intelligent cats. My oldest son plays fetch with them. Their muscular build and agility from the leopard lets them reach rather high places. A few, we wish they couldn't reach. We child proof the lower part of our home but we BENGAL proof the higher parts.

We are so proud of Maximus. He obtained his Double Grand Champion Status in just 3 shows! We want to thank Nancy from Provinmountain for this wonderful well tempered boy.

All kittens are vet-checked, immunized with their first 2 sets of shots and health guaranteed. Please see our kitten and cat contract located on our kitten page for more details. All cats and kittens are litter trained and are registered with TICA. A copy of the registration will be provided at time of sale to ensure their breed validity. Original registrations will be given once proof of spay/neuter is provided if this is a pet quality cat or kitten. We screen our buyer's very carefully. We must satisfy ourselves that they are going to a good home. We keep you updated with weekly pictures and progress on your Bengal.

Just 20 minutes from the Canada, United States border allows us to domestic ship to both countries to avoid any unnecessary delays. We also ship internationally when needed. Shipping your Bengal is very safe and secure. Recommended airlines ensure the best care is given to them while they are in transit. Shipping costs are quite reasonable and are the buyer's responsibility.

We have just begun to show our Bengals in the ring. We have been very proud of them in their recent shows and we look forward to many future successes. Judges look for many different qualities in a Bengal, some of which include overall health, smaller ears, puffy whisker pads, good boning and overall muscle tone. As well, as proper colouring to meet their division standard and tight pelt-like coats. Rosettes are favourable in the brown spotted divisions and can vary in shapes and sizes. Marbles are desired to be in a horizontal pattern and have tri-colour contrast. Seals or Snows can be Seal Mink or Seal Lynx Point. Show cats must be easily handled by the judges and must not exhibit any aggressive behaviour. They want the wild only in looks. This is just to mention a few.
